 Hello everyone.
Life is moving along. The boys all had good report cards and conferences.
Christmas is coming and I will not have my boys from Dec. 19 to the 30th. Now looking at the bright side, I will have them for a stretch over New Years, but somehow not having your children for that long over Christmas is tough stuff. It is feeling a bit hard to get in the spirit knowing they will not even be here in the leading up to and following Christmas which matters. It is the bitter reminder of why divorce sucks! Excuse my french!  All of you married readers....  take heed. Go hug your husband. Appreciate him.

That's got to be tough. Sorry to hear we'll have to miss seeing them when we're up. Hope you are able to get in the holiday spirit anyway!

These "off year" holidays without the kids are always harder, but we'll still have a good break with some nice free time.  And then we'll have a solid week with our kids for plenty of family activities.  Appreciate what we have, not regret what we don't.
